FAQ - Free Flow

How does parking work when I arrive?

Your vehicle’s license plate is automatically scanned by cameras at the entrance. A digital sign confirms that your vehicle has been registered and may display further instructions.

How do I pay?

Each vehicle is entitled to two free visits of up to 5 minutes per calendar day.

If you stay longer than 5 minutes or visit more than twice per day, you can pay in several ways:

Pay before leaving the parking area

Pay by mobile or at a payment machine before you exit.

Pay within 72 hours

You can pay within 72 hours after leaving the parking area.
Enter your vehicle’s license plate number to see any unpaid parking sessions from the past 72 hours. Payments are securely handled via Nets.

Automatic payment

Create an account and register your payment card. Parking fees will be automatically charged during your next visit. Create an account here.

Invoice payment

If none of the above options are used, an invoice will be sent to the registered owner of the vehicle.

A SEK 49 invoice fee will be added to the parking fee. The invoice is issued by Riverty. A reminder fee of SEK 60 will be charged if a payment reminder must be sent.

Can I pay with a parking app?

If camera parking is activated in one of the most common parking apps, the app’s logo will be shown on the entrance sign.
Your parking will then be paid automatically upon exit.
Camera parking must be activated in the app. You can use EasyPark, Parkster, Mobill, or E-Parkera.

Why can’t I register my payment card for automatic payment?

Please check with your bank that your card is not blocked for online purchases.

Why have I received an invoice?

The invoice refers to an unpaid parking fee at the Pick-up and Drop-off parking area at Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
Information about the applicable parking terms is available on-site.
If you have questions regarding the invoice, please refer to the contact details provided on the invoice.

Can I change the invoice address?

No, invoices are always sent to the registered vehicle owner.

Why is there an invoice fee?

We offer several payment options that do not include additional fees.
The invoice fee applies when you have chosen not to pay via any of the other available options.

Why did I receive an invoice even though my payment card is registered with Swedavia?

This may happen if your payment card has expired or lacks sufficient funds.
We make several attempts to withdraw the payment, and if all fail, an invoice is created.
You will receive an email notification asking you to check your card details if a payment attempt fails.

I can’t find my unpaid parking when searching, even though I know I have one.

Unpaid fees can only be viewed on the website for 72 hours after leaving the parking area. After that, an invoice is issued.

I have not accepted your general terms. How can you demand payment?

By entering a paid parking area, you automatically accept the general terms and conditions.

You can read more about them on our website under General Terms and Conditions.

How do I close my automatic payment account?

Log in to your account and remove your payment card under your profile - Payment Methods.

Why has money been withdrawn from my card for a vehicle I’ve sold?

You are responsible for the information linked to your automatic payment account.
If you sell your vehicle, remember to remove it from your profile.

How can I find my receipts if my payment card is registered?

Log in to your account. Under “Receipts” you can view all your transactions and receipts.

I didn’t receive a receipt after paying.

Please contact Swedavia Contact Center Parking.

How can I change my registered license plate or payment card?

Log in to your account to update your information.

I received a debt collection notice without getting an invoice first.

You are responsible for monitoring and paying your parking fees.
If you wish to appeal a collection case, please use the contact information provided on the invoice.

I received an invoice even though I stayed less than the free period.

The vehicle has likely entered the parking area more than twice within a single calendar day.

My license plate didn’t appear on the screen when I exited. How do I know my parking was registered?

The cameras usually read license plates correctly, but the message on the screen may be delayed.

If you’re unsure, search for your license plate number within 72 hours after exit on our website.

If it’s not shown, you can request a parking verification.

What applies if I enter with a moped, motorcycle, or trailer?

All vehicles are registered by the system and must pay accordingly.
If you have a trailer attached, both the car and trailer must be paid for.
Cameras read both front and rear license plates.

How is the parking time recorded?

When you enter the parking area, a camera scans your license plate and starts your parking session.

When you exit, another camera scans your license plate again and ends your session.
